Global Screening of Thin Ice: The Inside Story of Climate Science
April 22, 2013
In recent years, climate science has come under increasing attack, from both the media and the scientific community. Seeking to find the truth, geologist Simon Lamb took his camera to find out what was happening behind the data. For over three years he followed scientists from the multidisciplinary fields of climate change study at work in the Arctic, Antarctic, New Zealand, Europe and the USA.
Thin Ice is a unique project: a film about climate science made by scientists. The film tells the story of CO2 and climate from the standpoint of the climate scientists, including PCCRC director, Matthew Huber, who are out there in the trenches trying to figure out what is going on.
The film will be available during Earth Week for free streaming: http://thiniceclimate.org Note, there are versions with subtitles in English, Mandarin, Spanish, French and German.
