New Conference in 2010 – The additional, new conference is called the 1st International High Performance Buildings Conference at Purdue. It will cover several areas of building design and performance, including building thermal systems, solar energy use in buildings, sustainable buildings and green technologies, building envelope/facades, net-zero building design, ventilation building-integrated photovoltaic's, indoor environment and human comfort, acoustics, building simulation, integrated building design and related case studies. The U.S. Green Building Council has agreed to become a sponsor of our conferences and we are encouraging other related organizations to help us promote the new conference. In addition, the Canadian Solar Buildings Research Network (SBRN) has been added as a Cooperating Society organization. We encourage all of you to continue your participation in the original conferences and hope that you will help us promote the new conference as well.

There will be three short courses offered prior to the 2010 Conferences. The third course High Performance Building Technologies is organized and taught by Thanos Tzempelikos and Ming Qu. It will emphasize building envelopes, integrated solar, ventilation and indoor environments.
