Cindy Fields and Kelsey Jordan

Cindy Fields (Purdue Testing Center) and Kelsey Jordan (Disability Resource Center): Cindy and Kelsey did great work creating an in-person experience for the Civics Literacy Knowledge Test on relatively short notice. As Purdue West Lafayette began to implement the Civics Literacy Program last year, Cindy was asked to create a method for students to take the Civics Knowledge Test in person using her existing small team at the Purdue Testing Center. Additionally, Kelsey was asked to develop a method to create the same opportunity for students who have test accommodations based on disability. With very little lead time, Cindy and Kelsey worked together and collaboratively with others involved in implementing the Civics Literacy Program to create these opportunities. Cindy and Kelsey deserve credit for coming up with this interim solution until we were able to offer students a completely online testing experience this summer. — Fred Duttlinger (Office of the Provost)
