Purdue names 2015 Homecoming queen and king

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Purdue University students Alyssa Begle and Jacob Ellis were crowned Homecoming queen and king during the Homecoming celebration Saturday (Nov. 7) on the main stage in Stadium Mall.
They appeared at Homecoming festivities Saturday (Nov. 7), including the football game's halftime celebration.
Begle is a senior studying speech language and hearing sciences in the College of Health and Human Sciences from Ferdinand, Indiana. Ellis is a senior studying organizational leadership in the Purdue Polytechnic Institute from Wabash, Indiana.
They were chosen by online student voting and formal interviews by a judging panel composed of faculty, staff, students, alumni and community leaders.
Members of the queen's court are Lexie Costa of Lindenhurst, Illinois; Katrina Molina of Cave Junction, Oregon; Brianne Read of Avon, Indiana; Kelsey Reiger of Dayton, Ohio; Justine Weatherman of Clayton, Indiana; and Anne Ye of West Lafayette, Indiana.
Members of the king's court are Michael Fouch of Brownsburg, Indiana; Matthew Gebbie of Granger Indiana; Patrick Sullivan of Painesville, Ohio; Dustin Weisner of Columbus, Indiana; and Michael Xu of Shanghai, China.
