Appointments, honors and activities

Student honors:

- The Purdue chapter of Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity was recently honored during the fraternity's national convention in Atlanta. The Purdue chapter received the Brummer Founders Cup runner-up for most outstanding chapter, the Theodore G. Rich-St. Louis Alumni Association Award runner-up for Outstanding Participation in Community Service Projects, the Joseph E. Glaser Award runner-up for Outstanding Participation in Philanthropic Activities, the Lee Dover Award runner-up for Excellence in Chapter Programming and the Heritage Award runner-up for Outstanding Heritage Programming. Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity was founded in 1898 as the world's first Jewish fraternity. It is represented on nearly 90 campuses across North America and has 140,000 undergraduate and alumni brothers throughout the world.
