Sept. 27 event to focus campus community on safety awareness

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – In conjunction with September’s National Preparedness Month, Purdue University will host an event Tuesday (Sept. 27) to promote safety awareness on campus.

Purdue’s seventh annual safety day is scheduled for 2:30-4:30 p.m. around the circle drive on the west side of the France A. Córdova Recreational Sports Center. The event is aimed at educating students and the rest of the university community on the resources available to them, both on campus and in Greater Lafayette. If there is inclement weather, the event will be canceled.
