Lee first captured national attention with a feature article in LIFE magazine at the age of 3. Since then, the Korean-American artist has been heard on four continents, including such venues as Alice Tully Hall, Carnegie Hall and Avery Fisher Hall.

A native of Virginia, Lee began playing the violin at age 3 and later studied with Weigang Li of the Shanghai Quartet. At age 14, she was accepted to the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia under the tutelage of Robert Mann and Ida Kavafian and graduated with a bachelor's degree four years later. In May 2003, she completed her studies with Robert Mann for a master's degree in music at the Juilliard School, and currently resides in New York.

The concert program will feature works by Tomaso Antonio Vitali, Ludwig van Beethoven, Claude Debussy, Robert Schumann and Henri Wieniawski.

Lee will be joined Lithuanian pianist Ieva Jokubaviciute who has won international competitions in Lithuania, the Czech Republic and Sweden. Jokubaviciute has appeared as a soloist with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, the Gratz University Orchestra and the Lithuanian National Symphony.

Tickets to the public performance are $11 and are available at the Elliott Hall and Stewart Center box offices at (765) 494-3933 or (800) 914-SHOW. Tickets also are available through Ticketmaster outlets.

In addition to Lee's public performance, she will also visit three regional schools, West Lafayette Junior/Senior High School, Frankfort High School and Otterbein Elementary. Lee will be giving short performances for the students and teaching them about the violin and her experiences as a professional musician.
