Police department offering free active threat training in November
The Purdue University Police Department is offering free, in-person training for potential active shootings and other threats on Nov. 13.
Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events, or CRASE, classes provide strategies, guidance and plan options for surviving an active threat event. Topics include the history and prevalence of active shooter events, civilian response options, and preparing in advance what your response will be.
The next session is 1:30-3:30 p.m. Nov. 13 in WALC, Room B074.
