Research Interests
My research centers on the interplay between policy, political systems, and broader social structures, and their influence on health disparities and overall health trajectories across the life course. I pay particular attention to migrant and LGBT populations, investigating both intra-group health disparities and differences relative to non-migrant and cis-heterosexual populations, respectively. Additionally, a core component of my research involves examining the impact of both public and policy attitudes towards migration on perceptions of the welfare state, especially in the context of increasing global migration.
