Purdue Testing Services (PTS)

Effective May 2023, the Disability Resource Center (DRC) Testing Center and the Purdue Testing Center have merged to form a new unit – Purdue Testing Services (PTS). PTS will be a “one stop shop” for testing services at Purdue. Services that are offered include:

  • Accommodated Testing
  • College Level Examination Program (CLEP)
  • Credit by Exam
  • Graduate Record Examinations (GRE)
  • Pearson Exams
  • PRAXIS
  • And more!

The highest volume of use for PTS will be the accommodated testing services that it offers to faculty. Accessibility is a university wide responsibility and PTS is just one resource available to faculty to ensure their courses are accessible to students with disabilities. Kelsey Jordan, Director of PTS, still maintains a close, collaborative relationship with the DRC to ensure they are providing the best service to students and faculty.

The decision to form PTS was a product of the years of growth seen by both testing centers. The goal of this new unit is to streamline processes and improve the quality of service to the campus community.
