The Purdue Community raises one of the largest campaigns in the community to benefit local agencies through the United Way of Greater Lafayette – dollars raised here, stay here – making an impact in our local community!
Thanks to the combined efforts of the Purdue community and the local community, over 12,000 households received meals and fresh food in 2023. Additionally, more than 850 children gained access to early childhood education programs, and over 2,700 individuals benefited from mental health services. Your generosity has made a significant impact in the greater Lafayette area.
Support for the campaign funds local agencies dedicated to creating lasting solutions for our community’s challenges. United Way tackles essential needs like food insecurity, shelter, and mental health support, while also empowering individuals through K-12 education and career readiness initiatives. Some of the funded agencies include LTHC Homeless Services of Greater Lafayette, Food Finders Food Bank, Inc., Hanna Community Center, MHA (Mental Health America Wabash Valley Region), The Arc Tippecanoe County, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Lafayette.
Together, with your help, we can have another great year of local community impact. To learn more about the Purdue United Way 2024 Campaign, visit here.
