Agriculture Industry Convenes for COVID-19 Discussion

INDIANAPOLIS (March 18, 2020) – To provide guidance on the latest novel coronavirus (COVID-19) obstacles to agricultural producers, the Indiana State Board of Animal Health and the Indiana State Department of Agriculture will be hosting a conference call on Friday, March 20, 2020.

This call will focus on issues impacting those in the agricultural sector, including, but not limited to, animal care and continued inspections in this time of uncertainty. This is a reminder that the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) is not a foodborne pathogen and is not food transmitted.
