Vice Provost of Enrollment Management
Cherise Hall is the Vice Provost for Enrollment Management. This position provides leadership to the Office of Admissions, Office of the Registrar, Division of Financial Aid, Strategic Student Communications, and Student Data.
Cherise is a graduate of Purdue’s Agricultural Economics Department and has a master’s degree in business administration from Purdue Global. She worked in Finance at Purdue for more than 20 years including the position of USDA Account Manager, Business Manager and Assistant Director of the Agricultural Sponsored Program Services Office and served as the Director of Financial Affairs for the College of Agriculture for nine years.
While serving as the Vice Provost for Finance and Strategic Initiatives, Cherise led the budget process for the academic campus, and developed and implemented university financial strategies on behalf of the Provost. She led the Institutional Data Analytics and Assessment Office (IDA+A). Cherise was also a sponsor of multiple university initiatives such as the campus classroom master plan, Transformative Education 2.0, and the Digital Faculty Reporting tool.

As the Director of Undergraduate Admissions, Mitch oversees the central recruitment, evaluation and admission of new undergraduate students here at Purdue. While he has worked at several other universities, he has called Purdue home for over 25 years. He is honored to work in Admissions where he interacts with students because “they are the people that will be running companies, organizations, and countries in the future.” Mitch received his bachelor’s degree at Ball State and his master’s in education, counseling and development at George Mason University where he also worked part-time in the US House of Representatives. Always considerate, organized and humble, Mitch loves to hike in the desert. His favorite place to visit is Death Valley!

In her persistent pursuit to help college be more affordable for students, Heidi Carl serves as the Director of Financial Aid. It is Heidi’s mission to provide strategy and vision for Purdue’s financial aid policies and practices. Heidi earned both her bachelor’s in communication and masters in education and counseling psychology from Western Michigan University. Heidi loves adventure and all the little things life has to offer. Funny, kind, and caring, her simple pleasures include cooking, baking, reading, and traveling.

WHAT WE DO
Division of Financial Aid
The Division of Financial Aid is the go-to place for all university-related financial questions. They educate and guide Purdue families through the financial aid process.
Office of Admissions
The Office of Admissions is responsible for the recruitment of undergraduate students to the university. It is their goal to disseminate all necessary information regarding the admissions process to prospective students, as well as to evaluate applications to determine if a student should be offered admission.
Enrollment Management Analysis & Reporting
Enrollment Management Analysis and Reporting maintains dashboards that report on important enrollment analytics and provide critical data insights and projections. They also build queries and digest analytics and enrollment data.
Office of the Registrar
The Office of the Registrar holds the academic record of a student and ensures academic integrity. They also release class schedules and keep track of students’ grades to determine eligibility to remain enrolled in the university.
Enrollment Management Strategic Communications & Initiatives
Strategic Communications serves as a central hub for communicating to undergraduate prospective and admitted students – showcasing the Purdue brand and amplifying the stories and experiences of the colleges that make up our campus.
Strategic Initiatives support the management and oversight of the daily overall Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) functionality. They provide vision and direction on how to leverage modern technologies in a way that improves operational efficiencies, user experience, and student experience.
