The Purdue Day of Service

October 29, 2021 @ 9:00 am 3:00 pm

Volunteering is the perfect way to give back to your community, improving the world one small step at a time, and we are excited to offer Purdue alumni and friends of the University a new opportunity to volunteer: The Purdue Day of Service.

Friday, October 29 ET Purdue West Lafayette Campus

Coordinated by Purdue University and the Purdue for Life Foundation, the first Purdue Day of Service will include the planting of trees—lots of trees!—and beautification work at our beloved Horticulture Park. This event supports the University’s 1869 Tree Planting Master Plan and our Sustainability Master Plan.

Registration will take place at the corner of McCormick Road and Third Street at 8 a.m., when volunteers will be provided with an exclusive event T-shirt and all necessary equipment. Work shifts are scheduled for 9–11 a.m. and 1–3 p.m., with lunch and remarks set for 11 a.m.–1 p.m. All times are ET. Free lunches will be provided.

Sign up today and spread the word—Purdue is making the world a better place, one tree at a time!
