ONE SHORT YEAR AGO, on October 9, 2015, Purdue launched the public phase of the biggest fundraising initiative in our history: Ever True: The Campaign for Purdue University. We knew we could count on the Boilermaker family to enthusiastically support our priorities to PLACE STUDENTS FIRST, BUILD ON OUR STRENGTHS, and CHAMPION RESEARCH AND INNOVATION. I'm truly delighted by the number of stakeholders participating—alumni, friends, faculty and staff, students, parents, retirees, and corporations and foundations; the dollars raised thus far; and the palpable sense of purpose that we all share.
Below is a timeline of a select number of campaign milestones and successes over the past year—illustrating some of the impact and opportunities your generosity has delivered. Because of you, lives are made better, futures are brighter, and Purdue's reputation for excellence and intellectual achievement grows ever stronger.

Purdue researchers become the first in the world to determine the Zika virus's structure. The University's $250M investment in the life sciences, made possible in part by the Ever True campaign, funded the purchase of advanced equipment that allowed the team to do in months what otherwise would have taken years.
