    1. I think the height would be the distance parallel to the force, rather than perpendicular, meaning we can't use it to calculate the moment. If so, we should use the "d" along the x-axis as our perpendicular distance.

  1. Should the forces on the diagonal support beam between B and D be factored into our equilibrium equations, or do they not apply because they are considered internal forces in the context of the problem?
