This program applies basic scientific and engineering principles to the design, development and operation of large-scale, bio-based product manufacturing, such as food and pharmaceuticals. Such products are sustainably produced, renewable, and represent a growing consumer demand for better health and environment.

In addition to learning engineering aspects of biological processing, you will also learn the fundamentals in biochemistry, food sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, and biology.
