Motorsports Engineering is a perfect blend of engineering curriculum plus vehicle dynamics, aerodynamics, data acquisition, and other motorsports-specific courses. Students in this major will have the unique opportunity to study in the heart of the racing capital of the world.

Purdue University in Indianapolis is the only institution in the nation that offers an undergraduate motorsports engineering program accredited by ABET. Our students pursue internships and careers with NASCAR and IndyCar teams, as well as companies like SpaceX, Harley-Davidson, Ford, Polaris, GM, Cummins and Caterpillar.
