Rohit Malik
When Rohit Malik first moved to the U.S. from India because of his dad’s work as a software engineer, Malik realized #engineering was a needed field and applicable across the world. “That experience opened my eyes to the limitless possibilities that come with being an engineer — from shaping the future of technology to making an impact on a global scale,” Malik said. “Since then, I’ve made it my life goal to be the first to do something — to pioneer new ideas, explore uncharted territory and push the boundaries of what’s possible. “That is, after all, the spirit of Purdue Engineering.”

Amareah Bead
“I think it’s special here at purdue. Everyone wants each other to succeed. Everyone’s willing to give advice and help. That’s a part of Purdue’s Identity.”

David Chin
“My mother instilled in me the values of patience, kindness and compassion, shaping both my character and aspirations. Biomedical engineering is the perfect intersection of these influences, allowing me to develop innovative solutions, explore new scientific frontiers and contribute meaningfully to my community and the world.”

Abigail Mizzi
“Purdue has become my home. The years spent here have been so impactful in ways I never could have imagined. You’ll find your place. You’ll find your community. Your career will go in ways you never expect, and you’ll achieve your dreams.”
