Prospective Students
Introducing Purdue
This is our first recommendation to you as a Prospective student. This is a full day visit including an Engineering Information Session providing an overview of the majors and programs here in the College of Engineering as well as opportunities for student life, research, work experience, study abroad and more! Plus, the afternoon is filled with academic major and student programs sessions and tours.
Engineering Information Session
Weekdays 11:30 a.m. – 1:15 p.m. Eastern
Led by members of the Office of Future Engineers, the Engineering Information Session (EIS) provides an overview of the majors and programs here in the College of Engineering as well as opportunities for student life, research, work experience, study abroad, and more!
During Fall and Spring semesters (except holidays and Purdue breaks), the Engineering Information Session includes a walking tour of our engineering facilities led by current engineering students.
March 17 – 21, 2025 (Purdue’s Spring Break)
The Engineering Information Session will NOT include engineering facilities tours. Campus will look and feel different as a majority of current students will be be gone.

This full day visit opportunity includes an Engineering Information Session providing an overview of the majors and programs here in the College of Engineering as well as opportunities for student life, research, work experience, study abroad and more! Plus an afternoon filled with academic major and programs sessions and tours.
Admitted Engineering Information Session
April 1, 4, 7, 9, 15 from 11:30am – 12:20pm
Learn all about the Purdue Engineering student experience directly from Office of Future Engineers staff and current engineering students living the dream! This session is designed for admitted students to learn more about academics and majors, opportunities for research, internships and co-ops and much more. In the afternoon you can also sit in on specific engineering majors sessions, take tours of campus and residence halls and see some of the various engineering facilities at Purdue.
These sessions are for students who have applied and been admitted to Purdue Engineering in West Lafayette.

Virtual Information Sessions
Last Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. (EST)
Led by current engineering students, these live hour-long presentations will provide an overview of the majors and programs here in the College of Engineering. You’ll learn about opportunities for student life, research, work experience, study abroad, as well as be able to submit your own questions throughout the presentation!.

Find Engineering Alum in Your Area!
PACER (PSEF Alumni Coordinated Engineering Recruitment) is a program designed for prospective students to connect with an alumni in their area. PACER is a great resource for students who still have questions about engineering and Purdue after a campus visit, or for students who don’t have the opportunity to visit campus. Please fill out the interest form if you want to be paired with an alumni – we will get back to you within one to two weeks!
