Advancing the industry workforce, together
By developing intentional collaborations with businesses around the world, the White Lodging-J.W. Marriott, Jr. School of Hospitality Management is preparing students with the skills needed to fill industry positions and become leaders in their field. We’ve created a variety of initiatives to meet industry professionals where they are, make strategic connections and build a stronger workforce, together.
Lend your business acumen
You can play an important role in shaping the next generation of industry leaders. We offer a variety of ways to connect with students in the classroom and beyond, including speaking and engagement opportunities, mentorship, career and professional development events, capstone projects, and more.
Additionally, our Center for Professional Selling offers opportunities to connect with students enrolled in Purdue’s highly ranked selling and sales management program. Whether your company is looking to fill a sales position or internship or wants to be part of classroom activities and program events, we can accommodate your level of partnership. Learn more about how to get involved on the Center for Professional Selling website. Have an idea of how you’d like to connect? Send an email to us at PurdueHTMCareerCenter@purdue.edu detailing your interest, and we’ll be in touch.
Establish a sales competition
As an experiential learning hub for students looking to improve their sales skills, the Center for Professional Selling can’t train the next generation of talented salespeople without the support of our valued corporate partners. We’re always looking for companies and industry leaders to engage with students on campus, and one way you can get involved is sponsoring a sales competition. These one-day or half-day experiences allow you to coach undergraduate students through sales situations and help them become experts in selling at the corporate level. Explore the Center for Professional Selling website for more information and next steps for getting involved.
