Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Certificate Program

A post-master’s primary care pediatric nurse practitioner certificate is available for individuals who hold a master’s degree in nursing from an accredited institution. The certificate programs allow nurses with a master’s degree to enter the program to prepare to function as a primary care pediatric nurse practitioner.

The total credit hours required for the certificate program vary depending on the student’s academic record, clinical experiences and objectives. The certificate program is a minimum of 16 credit hours. Typically a student will complete 16-34 hours of course credit. The certificate program requires a total of 630 clinical hours, which fulfills the certification requirements.
