What We Do
The function of the Purdue Clinical Research Center (CRC) is to provide space, equipment, and staff to support government, academic, and industry-sponsored human clinical research studies. Clinical research “aims to advance medical knowledge by studying people, either through direct interaction or through the collection and analysis of blood, tissues or other samples” (National institutes of Health).
The use of the Purdue CRC is available to Nutrition Science investigators, College of Health and Human Sciences investigators, as well as investigators across the Purdue University campus. In conjunction with the NIH sponsored Indiana CTSI umbrella, use of the Purdue CRC is available to researchers from other institutions. The Purdue CRC Oversight Committee reserves the right to prioritize use of CRC resources according to funding source.
