Purdue University and University of Illinois Cooperative Extension Services Sponsor the Illiana Vegetable Growers Symposium

The 2016 Illiana Vegetable Growers Symposium is scheduled for Tuesday, January 5, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. CST at Teibel’s Restaurant, Schererville, IN.  The program is packed full of useful information for vegetable farmers, including market gardeners.  See the complete program at https://ag.purdue.edu/hla/Extension/Pages/IVGS.aspxThe program offers continuing education credits:

·         Indiana Private Applicator Recertification Credits. $10 PARP fee – Bring your license.
·         Certified Crop Advisor Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
·         Indiana Commercial Pesticide Applicator Continuing Certification Hours (Up to 5 CCHs for Cat 1 & RT; 2 CCHs for Cat 11; Up to 1 CCH for Cat 14)
Advance registration is $25 per person. Participants may register online at The-Education-Store.com before Dec. 23. Look for the ‘Workshops’ button on the left of the page. To register by mail, send a completed registration form (https://ag.purdue.edu/hla/Extension/Documents/IVGS_Brochure_2016_FINAL.pdf) with payment postmarked by Dec. 16. On-site registrations will be accepted at $30 per person, but the famous Teibel’s fried chicken luncheon cannot be guaranteed.
