Purdue Arboretum at Fall into Nature Event

Paul Siciliano, Director of the Purdue Arboretum, and Purdue Arboretum Student Interns, Madeline Budan, Kayla Edgerly, and Josh Bailey participated in The Fall into Nature Event on Friday, October 27, as part of Green Week/Sustainability Week. This event was hosted by the Department of Forestry and Natural Resources Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Justice and Belonging committee. The goal of the event is present to all communities on campus that nature is for everyone and introduce them to nature through educational tables, guided hikes through Horticulture Park/Stewart Woods and fellowship over some food.  In addition to the Purdue Arboretum, other campus participants included the Purdue Student Chapter of The Wildlife Society, Tippecanoe County Queer Birders, Purdue Student Chapter of Environmental Education, Purdue Student Chapter of the American Fisheries Society, Purdue Wood Research Lab, The Purdue Herbaria, and the Purdue Student Farm Organization.
