Dr. Mike Dana’s Retirement Celebration – HLA Happenings

Dr. Mike Dana’s Retirement Celebration

Dr. Mike Dana speaks to the attendees.

On August 30, we gathered to honor Dr. Mike Dana as he retired after nearly 43 years of dedicated service to the HLA Department. Dr. Dana, renowned as an educator, mentor, and leader of study abroad programs, was also the visionary behind the Jules Janick Horticulture Garden.

Purdue College of Agriculture Dean Dr. Bernie Engel as well as faculty, staff, alumni, and current students came together to reflect on the profound impact Dr. Dana has had on their lives and careers. We extend our heartfelt best wishes to Dr. Dana as he embarks on this new chapter of his life.
