My name is Emily Slade and I am a community planning intern at USI Consultants. Here I work in the landscape architecture and planning department on projects ranging from complete streets to revitalizing parks. Here I have been learning a lot about the technical and economic aspects of the career, as well as detailing in CAD. Getting experience in an office environment is also very nice, I have enjoyed acclimating to the office and getting more involved in organized activities such as pickleball with the office or participating in community service projects like picking up litter on INDOT roads.
