Ashley Adair, Lori Hoagland, and Liz Maynard traveled with Indiana Urban Soil Health and NRCS staff to Frith Farm in Scarborough, ME last week. Daniel Mays, owner of Frith Farm, hosted the group for a no-till organic vegetable workshop on June 15th. Frith Farm emphasizes soil health in all its production practices, including minimizing tillage, mulching with organic materials, and cover cropping. In addition to spending the day on the farm, the group got to enjoy coastal cuisine and spent a lot of time in good conversation!
