On Thursday, September 12th, Indiana Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (INASLA) hosted its annual Award Gala at Muncie, Indiana. During the award ceremony, the 2024 state chapter student and professional awards were announced. Purdue Landscape Architecture students have won three of the five students awards this year:

Legacy Lookout: Bison, Biodiversity, and Spirit of Place. Student Design Works Category, Merit Award. (Student: Nicole Rahfaldt. Faculty Advisor: Aaron Thompson)

Bridging Nature and Urban Systems: Creating a biophilic neighborhood in the city of Denver. Student Planning and Analysis Category, Merit Award. (Student: Gabriela Nivar. Faculty Advisor: Dave Barbarash)

A Battle Against Nutrient Pollution. Student Planning and Analysis Category, Honor Award. (Student: Yahan You. Faculty Advisor: Yiwei Huang and Erin Percevault)
