Landscape Systems and Design master’s student Mya Hagerty attended the Annual Environmental Design Research Association (EDRA) International Conference in Portland, Oregon last week. She presented her in-progress master’s thesis work as a part of the Graduate Student Mentoring Workshop, and was selected as a result of this presentation along with 3 other graduate students (out of the 18 accepted for the workshop), to co-author a perceptual writing piece regarding conference experiences and learning.

After the conference, she took an Amtrak train up to Seattle for personal travel, allowing her to tour the University of Washington campus (including the College of Built Environments and UW Arboretum), as a future potential PhD University option.
