Peter Hirst was in Washington DC last week to give a presentation during the reporting on the project “Cultural Restoration in Post-Conflict Northern Iraq”. He was joined with colleagues from Purdue, IU, Notre Dame, the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute, and partners from the University of Duhok in Kurdistan Iraq. He also updated staff from Senator Young’s office and the House Committee on Agriculture on the project and its implications.
