Prof. Sean Rotar, an assistant professor, has been appointed chair of the committee on education of the American Society of Landscape Architects. The ASLA committee advises the society on education policy, growth and maintenance of landscape architecture programs and monitors education and employment trends. Rotar’s two-year term will end in November 2016. Rotar was the 2014 recipient of the College of Agriculture’s Richard L. Kohls Outstanding Early Career Award for teaching.
