9:15 – 9:45 Annette Webb is a Master Naturalist and Master Gardener from Indiana.  She, along with husband, Bob, co-owns R.A.W. Sustainable Living worm farm, home to over 30,000 African night  crawlers.  Annette will  share the reason she uses imported worms when she gives us the “Scoop on Poop.”

10:15 – 11:00 Karen Golden  is a Master Gardener, a Certified Horticulturist, and owner of Michigan Heirlooms.  Currently, she sells over 10,000 vegetable starter plants nationwide.  Karen returns this year to  talk to us about “Bountiful Gardens: Tips and Tricks for growing in Small Spaces.”

11:30 – 12:15 Remy Rotella is owner of The Sample Seed Shop, a highly rated garden company for customer satisfaction (Dave’s Garden Watchdog top 30). Her expertise is in heirlooms and she specializes in tomato seeds. She offers  other vegetable and flower seeds too! Her talk will be on “Ornamental Heirlooms, Vegetables and Flowers”.

12:45 – 1:45 Bill Best is an heirloom seed expert from Kentucky, with an Ed.D. from University of Massachusetts. He is cofounder of the Sustainable Mountain Agriculture Center and director from 2002 through 2018. Bill has authored seven books, numerous publications, and is a Consultant on Appalachia, sustainable agriculture and seed preservation. He will share with us some practical information on saving seeds.
