End of Semester Extended Drop-In Support
Daily via WebEx
Need last-minute help with your grades, exams, or setting up your Maymester course? Consulting and Training offers drop-in support daily, with extra sessions during finals week. These sessions are first-come-first-serve, and can assist with any of your Brightspace issues.

Preparing Your Gradebook
May 12, 2-2:50 p.m.
This interactive webinar will provide faculty with guidance on setting up their gradebook in Brightspace prior to the start of the summer semester. Attendees will learn about all the options for organizing, calculating and displaying their grades, and discover the benefits of having their gradebook established at the start of the semester.

Digital Proctoring
May 13, 1-1:50 p.m.
This session provides an in-depth look at Purdue’s digital proctoring tools, Respondus and Examity, with a walk-through of the setup process for proctored exams. Tips and best practices will also be covered. The Innovative Learning Team recommends considering alternate forms of assessment, and only using digital proctoring when all other options have been exhausted.

Brightspace Frequently Asked Questions
May 11, 10-11 a.m.
During this one-and-a-half-hour session, CELT consultants will present most frequently asked questions about Brightspace. We will present the questions in the following five areas: Gradebook, Assignments, Quizzes, Discussions, and Groups. Each topic will be about 15 minutes long. Feel free to join anytime during the session. We will use the last 15 minutes for additional questions to any Brightspace tool.

What Can My Course Evaluations and Students’ Performance Data Tell Me?
May 20, 1-2 p.m.
In this workshop, you will learn to use course evaluations and Brightspace student performance data to strengthen course design and promote student learning. Facilitators will demonstrate tools that help you collect student data from Brightspace and explain how to interpret data for course enhancement.

Using Kaltura Quiz to Engage Students Through Video
May 26, 12:30-1:30 p.m.
In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn how to use Kaltura Quiz to engage students and check their understanding. Both, settings and pedagogical considerations will be discussed. Participants will design their own Kaltura quiz and add it to a Brightspace shell.
