Brightspace offers a powerful central hub for courses that not only houses necessary course files, but also offers a way to deliver content, provide assessments, and engage learners in discussion. Purdue offers various resources to assist in learning how to use Brightspace as a learning management system (LMS).

Teaching can seem overwhelming, but we are here to help.
- Step 1. Begin by making an instructional plan with the learning goals, a course catalog description, and measurable, observable learning outcomes. (If this is new to you, you can find assistance in the Inclusive Pedagogy content area on Outcomes and Objectives.)
- Step 2. Once you know the course outcomes, you will need to decide how your learners demonstrate mastery, both in formative (incremental/practice steps) as well as summative (larger/final) assessments
