Purdue trustees honor retiring President Daniels, approve naming of MEP, and renovation/building plans

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. —

Purdue’s Board of Trustees on Friday (Dec. 2) honored Mitch Daniels, who is set to retire after a decadelong run as the university’s 12th president. The board also approved the naming of the Minority Engineering Program and renovations to the Mechanical Engineering Building, recognized Provost Jay Akridge and welcomed a new Purdue Global board member, among its actions.
