Future of bar admissions is focus of next Purdue Global Law School Distinguished Speaker Series event

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Purdue Global Law School will host “The Future of Bar Admissions” on March 11 for the next installment of its Distinguished Speaker Series.
The live webinar, which is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET/noon PT, will be hosted by Martin Pritikin, dean and vice president of Purdue Global Law School, and will feature a distinguished panel of law professors:
- Steve Bracci, associate dean of first-year programs and professor of law at Purdue Global Law School
- Marsha Griggs, associate professor at Saint Louis University School of Law
- Joan Howarth, professor emerita at William S. Boyd School of Law, University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and dean emerita at Michigan State University College of Law
“We are currently seeing some of the biggest changes in decades in how people become licensed attorneys,” Pritikin said. “State supreme courts and other rule makers are considering options that would have been considered unthinkable just a few years ago. This webinar couldn’t be more timely, and our panelists are at the forefront of preparing the next generation of lawyers.”
During the talk, panelists will discuss key changes in the bar exam, including shifts in its content and delivery, and the growing trend of alternative pathways to licensure. They will share their insights on preparing law graduates for the bar and navigating the evolving licensure landscape.
Licensed attorneys can receive 1 California General Minimum Continuing Legal Education credit for attending this webinar.
Registration for this event is free and required. To register, click here. After the live event, the webinar will be available to view on the law school’s YouTube page.
Pritikin recently recorded a video where he talked about the future of legal education and many of the issues that will be addressed during the panel discussion.
