In a Discovery Lecture Series event, Richard E. Thorsten, director of international programs at Water.org, will speak on "Water in the Developing World." 7-8:30 p.m. STEW, Fowler Hall. Details

A special Sears Lecture Series event will bring four noted speakers, each addressing an aspect of a broader theme, "Women's Rights Have No Country: National, Transnational and International Politics of Women's Human Rights." 5:30 p.m. PMU, West Faculty Lounge. Details

"Good Kids" by Purdue Theatre |
"Good Kids" by Naomi Iizuka continues its premiere run in Purdue Theatre, directed by Joel Ebarb. The play explores college-age attitudes toward sexuality and relationships, so it's rated R. $. Details

The Spring Showcase Concert from Purdue Bands and Orchestras is actually three concerts featuring guest conductor Col. Thomas Palmatier, leader and commander of the U.S. Army Band. The weekend also is a scholarship fundraiser. Details

58th Purdue Grand Prix. It's still a scholarship benefit and still the Greatest Spectacle in College Racing. $. In two evenings, the Chamber Ensembles Concert from Purdue Bands and Orchestras will testify to the wide range of musicianship on campus. Each concert at 7 p.m. STEW, Fowler Hall. Details
