Reminder: 2022 winter recess
The university will be closed Dec. 23, 26 and 30, 2022, and Jan. 2, 2023, which are university holidays, as well as Dec. 27-29, which is the 2022 winter recess. For more information on the winter recess, see the 2022 Winter Recess FAQs.
Pay practices for the 2022 winter recess are also available. Nonessential, benefits-eligible employees will receive pay for normally scheduled hours during the winter recess. Nonexempt staff should access SuccessFactors and use the “Request Time Off Quick Action Tile” to record days as time off. Select “Other Leave with Pay” from the “Time Type” drop-down menu. Follow the Other Leave (with Pay) Quick Reference Guide for further information.
Any staff members with previously scheduled leaves on winter recess days will need to review the 2022 Winter Recess FAQs document. If none of the situations apply, then the request will need to be canceled by the employee.
