Experiential Education to host ‘Chat With the ExEd Champions’ event
Purdue West Lafayette faculty and staff are invited to “Chat With the ExEd Champions,” an event hosted by Experiential Education (ExEd). The event will be held Feb. 7 from 2:30-4 p.m. in Stewart Center, Room 218AB. This event is designed to allow faculty and staff the opportunity meet with the ExEd Champions to discuss ideas and ask questions about experiential education. Refreshments will be provided.
ExEd Champions provide expertise to the university community on various aspects of experiential education. As part of their work with the Office of ExEd, the ExEd Champions serve as consultants to faculty and staff who offer experiential education programs inside and outside the classroom, as well as to those who aren’t doing so yet but have an interest in getting involved.
As part of this event, participants who complete the event evaluation will be entered to win a $300 program grant. These funds can be used toward supplies or professional development to assist you in getting started with your great ExEd idea or to grow a current program.
To register for this event, please complete the RSVP form. For more information about this event, contact Jennifer Dobbs-Oates, the director of the Office of Experiential Education, at jendo@purdue.edu.
