Purdue releases on-demand commencement, celebrates graduates amid global pandemic
Purdue’s 7,500-plus spring 2020 graduates are able to celebrate their accomplishments via an on-demand commencement ceremony that features all the traditional in-person elements.

Purdue students and alumni receive Fulbright grants

Faculty at two of Indiana’s leading business schools at Purdue and Indiana universities are collaborating on a project with IU Health to help the health care provider manage the COVID-19 demand surge in its 16 hospitals across five regions of the state.

Artificial intelligence is energy-hungry. New hardware could curb its appetite.
Researchers have created hardware that can learn skills using a type of artificial intelligence that currently runs on software platforms. Sharing intelligence features between hardware and software would offset the energy needed for using AI in more advanced applications such as self-driving cars or discovering drugs.
