Purdue’s Human Research Protection Program (HRPP) team is on a mission to streamline the regulatory journeys of researchers across the university. An integral part of the Office of Research’s regulatory affairs group, the HRPP team is charged with ensuring that all research involving human participants is conducted ethically and in a manner that promotes their rights and welfare. In addition to informing and educating faculty, staff and students, the team facilitates the submission of research protocols to Purdue’s Institutional Review Board and the postapproval monitoring of studies.

Purdue President Mung Chiang and First Lady Kei Hui will host the third annual Easter egg hunt for faculty, staff and graduate student families with children ages 12 and under at Westwood on April 12. Two sessions will be held at 1 and 2 p.m. for children to enjoy the egg hunt, as well as special treats and photo opportunities.
The Purdue Grand Prix track now has its very own version of the famous Yard of Bricks at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. On Wednesday (March 12), Doug Boles, the president of IMS and IndyCar, was among the attendees at a dedication ceremony for a row of bricks from the original Brickyard that has been installed at the Grand Prix track’s start/finish line.
