Teams of Purdue University students won a combined $5,500 in prizes during the finals of the Moonshot Pitch Challenge, a semiannual, ideation-focused competition organized by the Purdue Innovates Incubator. Submissions for the spring 2025 Moonshot Pitch Challenge will begin in February.
After Kazuki Koide earned an undergraduate degree in Japan, he was hired in sales at Mitutoyo America Corp. In 2020, he was transferred to Chicago when he was promoted to purchasing specialist. Feeling a need to learn more about supply chain management, he completed an MITx MicroMaster program. He then decided to pursue an online master degree in global supply chain management at Purdue. “I had classmates from all over the world, which gave me a great perspective of supply chain management issues in other countries,” he says.
The One Health Alumni Reunion at Purdue University will take place Nov. 14-16 on the West Lafayette campus. All are welcome to register for this first-of-its-kind event, including alumni, faculty, staff, students, friends and fans of Purdue. The event will bring together Boilermakers who serve in the medical profession — supporting human, plant and animal health — for a weekend of special programming with President Mung Chiang, First Lady Kei Hui and faculty across health-related fields.
