2023 IRS Form 1095-C now available

The Purdue Bell Tower during the fall.

The IRS requires Purdue University, as an employer, to report whether an employee and dependents (if applicable) had health insurance coverage in 2023. Therefore, employees receive Form 1095-C, which details whether they were offered health coverage by Purdue and during which months.

Forms will be mailed to employees this week; however, the 1095-C is not required to be submitted for employees to complete a tax return — taxes may be filed as normal.

Employees can access forms online through BenefitFocus by following these steps:

  • Log in to BenefitFocus via the OneCampus portal.
  • Select “Benefits” in the upper right corner.
  • Under “Benefit Reports,” select “1095 tax documents.”
  • Select “Download” to print or save to your computer.

Questions can be directed to Human Resources at 765-494-2222 or via email at hr@purdue.edu, with “2023 1095-C” in the subject line.
