Advisory committee to begin listening sessions ahead of search for HHS leader
The Office of the Provost has announced a new leadership advisory committee tasked with gathering input from stakeholders and envisioning potential new directions in the search for a leader for the College of Health and Human Sciences (HHS) at Purdue.
Led by Jerome Adams, Presidential Fellow, executive director of Purdue’s Health Equity Initiatives and Distinguished Professor of Practice, the newly formed HHS Leadership Advisory Committee will be conducting a series of listening sessions with the HHS community and other campus stakeholders.
The purpose of these listening sessions is to identify strengths, needs and future opportunities. The insights gained will form the basis of initial recommendations to the provost, guiding the search for a leader who can effectively lead HHS toward its envisioned future.
Once this initial phase is completed, the work of an augmented search advisory committee will begin. This committee will play a vital role in conducting a search to identify exceptional candidates for this critical leadership position.
The Office of the Provost and the College of Health and Human Sciences appreciate the participation and support from the Purdue community and its stakeholders as they embark on the important journey of finding the right leader to shape the future of HHS.
Feedback and input are welcome from the Purdue community and others who wish to participate. Individuals can indicate interest in participating in listening sessions or provide written feedback via this Qualtrics form. Listening sessions will run from Feb. 2 through Feb. 16. Written feedback is due by Feb. 16.
