This week’s ‘Thumbs Up’ recipients

A winter scene on the Purdue University campus.

“Thumbs Up” gives faculty and staff the chance to recognize others on campus for a job well done. “Thumbs Up” submissions may be made online.

Miranda Baer

Miranda Baer (Mechanical Engineering): Miranda goes above and beyond in providing support to our students. She is a welcome addition to our advising team and is especially helpful in answering our undergraduate email questions. — Tina Denson (Mechanical Engineering)

Randy McDonald

Randy McDonald (Operations and Maintenance): A special “Thumbs Up” to Randy McDonald in Zone 4, who took the extra effort on a holiday weekend to protect the sprinkler lines from the frigid temperatures in the vestibules at the Dauch Alumni Center.
