Students invited to explore future of health care at ninth annual Lilly Day at Purdue

Purdue University is once again partnering with Eli Lilly and Company for the ninth annual Lilly Day at Purdue on Aug. 28. The daylong event at Memorial Mall and Stewart Center will follow the below schedule:

  • On Your Mark … Get Set … Go! — 10-11 a.m., Memorial Mall
  • Join the Team — 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Memorial Mall, Centennial Mall, Daniels School of Business
  • Lilly Olympics and Tailgate — 12:30-2 p.m., Memorial Mall
  • Pass the Torch and Celebrate Diversity — 2:30-3:30 p.m., Stewart Center, Room 214
  • Dream Team Fireside Chat — 4-5 p.m., Stewart Center, Loeb Playhouse
  • Meet Us at the Finish Line — 5:15-7 p.m., Stewart Center

Students will have the opportunity to have Lilly employees review their résumés, network with company leadership and meet with representatives from Lilly’s diversity resource groups.

“Purdue University and Lilly have forged a dynamic partnership, blending academic innovation with industry expertise,” said Timothy F. Coleman, senior vice president and chief technology officer for Lilly’s digital core.

“Events like Lilly Day at Purdue exemplify our strong collaboration, providing students with unique opportunities to engage directly with industry professionals, gain insights into cutting-edge research, and explore potential career paths, thereby preparing them to become the next generation of leaders in science and technology,” Coleman said.

Purdue Day at Lilly is open to all students, and the company especially welcomes those in career paths such as engineering, sciences, business, pharmaceutical manufacturing and supply chain management.
