ORAU vice president to speak on research, funding

A key official of Oak Ridge Associated Universities will speak Sept. 16 in Purdue's Discovery Park about scientific research opportunities and funding.
Arlene Garrison, ORAU's vice president for university partnerships, will make a presentation titled "ORAU: The University Value Proposition" at 2-3 p.m. in Burton D. Morgan Center for Entrepreneurship, Room 121.
Garrison has responsibility for ORAU's scientific research opportunities and its partnerships with universities, national laboratories and private industry. She heads ORAU's University Partnerships Office, which provides awards and fosters interinstitutional relationships to identify, promote and increase funding opportunities.
