A fresh start is a wonderful thing, and a new school year brings a fresh start on many fronts. The campus events schedule shows new varsity seasons, fresh exhibitions and continued imagination in performance offerings, leading off with the Purdue Varsity Glee Club. Purdue Today's Don't Miss It! will bring periodic reminders of this rich schedule along with one admonition: Don't Miss It!
AUGUST 24
Gallery opening. The Patti and Rusty Rueff Galleries in Pao Hall will open the year with "Design Inspiration, Rome to Kathmandu" by Steve Visser (Aug. 24-Sept. 4) and "Becoming Attraction" by Liz Weirzbicki (Aug. 24-Sept. 11). Hours: 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; until 7 on Thursdays (except holidays). Details

Ringel Gallery in Stewart Center, with a reception and gallery talk 5:30 p.m. Oct. 1.
