Harrison Street Parking Garage to become 24/7 pay or permit in August

New equipment has been installed in the Harrison Street Parking Garage (PGH) that will allow the garage to become a 24/7 pay-by-the-hour parking garage in August, modeled after the Grant Street Parking Garage.

Motorists with appropriate permits (e.g., “A” permits, student PGH permits, retiree permits and reserve permits) will still have access to the garage without incurring an hourly charge, and visitors may have their tickets validated by the department/clinic they are visiting.

The rates will be the same as the Grant Street Parking Garage:

0-30 minutes: $1
30-60 minutes: $3
2 hours: $4
3 hours: $5
4 hours: $6
5 hours: $7
6 hours: $8
7 hours: $9
8 hours: $10
Maximum daily rate: $10

Departments have the option to purchase $2 daily passes for visitors in advance by contacting Parking Facilities.

Additional information about the timing of the change will be shared later this summer. Questions may be directed to Holly Buskirk, Parking Facilities manager, at 765-494-9315.
